Honor, which left Huawei due to US sanctions, opened its first production factory in Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenzhen. The new factory is capable of producing a device in 28.5 seconds.
Honor’s new factory will not only produce phones, but also will be a development center for artificial intelligence studies, and quality control and product certification processes will be carried out.
Honor quickly became the third bestselling smartphone brand in China. It sold 96% more phones than the previous year.
