## Google Expands Wearables Lineup with Pixel Watch 4, Pixel Buds 2a, and Pixel Buds Pro 2

Google has announced a trio of new devices aimed at bolstering its position in the wearables market: the highly anticipated Pixel Watch 4, the redesigned Pixel Buds 2a, and updated Pixel Buds Pro 2. The announcements come as competitors, including Apple, continue to innovate within the smartwatch and audio space.

The Pixel Watch 4 represents a significant overhaul of Google’s smartwatch offering. Key features include a redesigned domed display with reduced bezels for improved visibility, and a pioneering smartwatch satellite connectivity feature, potentially preceding a similar planned functionality in Apple’s upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3. The device also incorporates a Snapdragon W5 chip, offers up to 40 hours of battery life (dependent on model), and emphasizes user repairability with replaceable battery and display components. The Pixel Watch 4 starts at $349.

The new Pixel Buds 2a offer a competitive entry point into the noise-canceling earbuds market at $129. Featuring Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), enhanced audio quality, and extended battery life, they also integrate Google’s Gemini AI when paired with a Pixel phone. The earbuds boast a lighter, stemless design and an IP54 water resistance rating. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 receive updates including Adaptive Audio and Loud Noise Protection, mirroring functionality found in Apple’s AirPods.
