Redmi, the sub‑brand of Xiaomi, introduced the newest member of the K90 line in China. The flagship model, Redmi K90 Pro Max, features a Bose‑co‑designed 2.1 sound system, marking a first for the smartphone market. The launch also included the standard Redmi K90.
The 2.1 audio system is the most striking element of the device. It is positioned on the right side of the large camera module and is claimed to deliver a high external sound level. This partnership with Bose aims to raise the audio experience for mobile users to a new level.
Design and materials also set the K90 Pro Max apart. One edition has a denim‑style back cover made from a special “nano leather” material that resists dirt, is easy to clean, and does not yellow under sunlight. The phone is also available in standard white and black colours.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It sports a 6.9‑inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a massive 7 560 mAh battery that supports 100 W wired fast charging and 50 W wireless charging. The front camera is 20 MP, while the rear camera setup is a triple‑lens array consisting of a 50 MP wide, a 50 MP ultra‑wide, and a 50 MP 5× periscope telephoto lens. The K90 Pro Max will not be sold in Turkey.
In a separate event, OPPO announced the global launch of the Find X9 series in China, a development that is expected to follow soon.
