Technological advancements continue to transform traditional artistic expressions, and Huawei, a pioneer in this space, has announced the launch of its GoPaint 2025 contest. This digital art competition is designed not only to celebrate the power of technology but also to encourage creativity among artists around the world.
The contest kicks off on October 31 and runs through December 31, 2025, providing an inclusive platform for all who wish to participate in celebrating the beauty of digital art. Huawei’s GoPaint is open not just to users of its tablets but also welcomes entries from anyone passionate about digital artistry.
Explore Your Creativity Across Five Unique Categories
GoPaint 2025 invites participants to showcase their imaginative talents across five distinct categories: Sci-Fi, Narrative Art, Memorabilia, Watercolor & Ink, and Animation (Video). These diverse categories ensure that every participant can find a platform that resonates with their unique artistic vision.
Awards That Recognize Talent at Both Local and Global Levels
The competition promises to honor its winners with impressive prizes. In the Turkish market, top three finishers in each category will receive Huawei devices such as the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 for first place, MatePad 12X for second, and MatePad 11.5 for third place. Globally, selected twenty artworks will each earn a $1000 prize in cash awards (inclusive of taxes).
The global winners also benefit from unique international exposure opportunities. Their works will be featured at digital art exhibitions worldwide, highlighted on Huawei’s Global App Gallery, and showcased through personal interview videos distributed across multiple platforms.
A World-Class Jury to Judge the Entries
GoPaint 2025 has assembled a distinguished jury panel consisting of renowned figures from the world of digital art. This includes Deka, a designer from the Paris School of Design; Laura Gallon, Art Director at Huawei Themes; Ji Zhengling, an esteemed artist from Tsinghua University’s Visual Arts Department; and Victor Ngai, a celebrated illustrator whose works have been recognized internationally.
This year’s competition offers not just material rewards but also unparalleled opportunities for artists to gain recognition on the global stage.
