Huawei Unveils MatePad Edge with PC-like Experience on a Tablet

Huawei recently officially unveiled the Huawei MatePad Edge, promising a PC experience in tablet form. Here are all the details about this new model featuring a 14.2-inch OLED screen.

The Huawei MatePad Edge emerges as the brand’s latest ‘two-in-one’ solution that combines the functionalities of both a tablet and a laptop. The company has been teasing this device for weeks, and now it has released its first official images. What are the features of the new model? It aims to provide users with an uninterrupted PC-like experience.

The MatePad Edge’s magnetic keyboard turns the device into a full-fledged laptop in seconds. When the keyboard is attached, desktop mode activates; when detached, the tablet returns to its standard interface instantly.

According to leaked information, the device features a massive 14.2-inch OLED screen, providing nearly the same workspace as a typical MateBook laptop. The panel will also have an anti-reflective special coating to reduce glare and enhance visibility.

The tablet boasts powerful performance with its next-generation Kirin 9 series processor. It runs on HarmonyOS 6 out of the box, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and software for a flawless user experience.

Available in Silver and Space Gray color options, the Huawei MatePad Edge is scheduled to be fully introduced at an event on November 25th alongside the new Mate series. What are your thoughts about this upcoming tablet?
