Huawei-Powered Voyah Taishan Officially Launched!

Huawei technology-equipped Voyah Taishan has been officially launched with a range of up to 1400 kilometers, targeting the luxury electric SUV market. Dongfeng Motor’s premium brand Voyah has released its flagship electric vehicle, Voyah Taishan, aimed at discerning customers who value long-range and high-tech features.

The Taishan comes in various versions, including a special Black Warrior Edition that won’t be available until the first quarter of 2026. Measuring 5.23 meters in length, 2.03 meters in width, and 1.82 meters in height, the SUV features a generous wheelbase of 3.12 meters, providing spacious seating for up to six people.

The exterior design emphasizes luxury and modernity with its signature grille design, LED light strips connecting the front logo, and distinctive pie-dish alloy wheels. Under the hood lies Voyah’s Intelligent Super Hybrid system featuring a 1.5T engine producing up to 110 kW of power and two electric motors delivering 150 kW at the front and 230 kW at the rear.

The Taishan is equipped with a CATL-supplied 65 kWh battery, offering an impressive range of 370 km on pure electricity (CLTC). Coupled with its hybrid system, the total range extends to 1400 km (CLTC), addressing concerns about long-distance travel. The vehicle supports ultra-fast charging at up to 800V voltage and a 5C charge rate, allowing it to go from 20% to 80% battery in approximately 12 minutes.
