Honor Watch X5 Launches with AMOLED Display and Long Battery Life at Affordable Price Point

Honor is set to unveil its latest smartwatch, the Honor Watch X5, along with the Honor 500 smartphone series in China. The device boasts an expansive 1.97-inch AMOLED display featuring a rounded-corner design and ultra-narrow bezels measuring just 1.8 mm, delivering a screen-to-body ratio of 82%. It supports an always-on display function and offers over 30 customizable watch face options via the Honor Health app.

The Watch X5 is constructed from aluminum alloy, making it lightweight at only 29 grams with a slim profile measuring just 9.99 mm thick. The inclusion of a stainless-steel rotating crown enhances tactile navigation, while quick-release silicone straps facilitate easy customization of wristwear styles. With dimensions of 45.68 × 40.2 mm, the watch ensures comfort during daily wear.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the advanced tracking features, such as an upgraded barometer and compass alongside independent GPS support for five satellite systems (BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS). This enables accurate route recording and real-time environmental monitoring during outdoor activities. The watch is also water-resistant up to 5 ATM and dustproof with IP68 certification, ensuring it can withstand swimming and other wet conditions.

Health-conscious users will benefit from the inclusion of 24/7 heart rate and blood oxygen level monitoring, sleep analysis, one-click health checks, and women’s health tracking. The watch also supports over 120 sports modes, catering to various physical activities. Additionally, Honor has partnered with domestic universities to develop an AI-based weight-loss program offering personalized guidance and progress assessments.

Other notable features include two-way Bluetooth calling, NFC for offline payments, camera shutter control, music control functionality, SOS calling support, a Do Not Disturb mode, and built-in mini-games. The battery life is impressive, with up to 14 days of typical use or five days when the always-on display feature is enabled.

The Honor Watch X5 is already available in China for CNY 449 (approximately $63), with an official launch scheduled at Honor’s November 24, 2025 event. For more information on new releases and updates, please visit our News Section or follow us on Telegram.
