Huawei Unveils Mate 80 Series With Up to 20GB RAM and 7000mAh Battery

Huawei has officially announced the launch of its new Mate 80 series smartphones set for release on November 25, 2025. The lineup will feature high-end specifications such as up to 20GB of RAM and a maximum storage capacity of 1TB. Additionally, both models are expected to come equipped with advanced camera setups including a primary 50MP sensor.

The standard Huawei Mate 80 model is anticipated to boast a large 6.9-inch display, while the Pro Max variant will offer an even larger 6.89-inch OLED screen supporting a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Both devices are expected to be water and dust resistant with IP68/69 ratings.

The Huawei Mate 80 series smartphones will also include robust battery capacities, with the standard model featuring a 5000mAh cell and the Pro variant packing an impressive 7000mAh unit. Charging capabilities will range from fast wired charging up to 80W and wireless charging reaching speeds of 65W.

Powering these devices is expected to be the HiSilicon Kirin 9030 chipset, promising strong performance for daily tasks and demanding applications. The Mate 80 series will run on HarmonyOS V5 operating system, ensuring smooth and efficient user experiences across various functionalities including 5G connectivity.
