Huawei has quietly launched a new model in China ahead of the anticipated release of its flagship Mate series: the Huawei Enjoy 70X Premium. This smartphone features Kirin 8000 chipset and satellite connectivity, which adds an exciting dimension to its offerings.
The Enjoy 70X Premium comes with significant upgrades from its predecessor, including a new antenna system and refreshed color options. The device is equipped with the Kirin 8000 SoC and offers up to 512GB of internal storage paired with 8 GB RAM. One of its standout features is satellite connectivity, enabling users to send text or image messages even when cellular network coverage is unavailable.
The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, featuring an in-screen fingerprint scanner for enhanced security and an under-display selfie camera setup. The back features a dual-camera system consisting of a primary 50MP sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor.
The Enjoy 70X Premium is powered by a large 6,100 mAh battery that supports 40W wired charging and ships with HarmonyOS 4.2 pre-installed. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity for improved performance.
Available in three colors—Obsidian Black, Sand Yellow, and Starry Blue—the Enjoy 70X Premium is priced at 1,899 CNY (approximately $265) for the variant with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The higher-end version with 8 GB RAM and 512 GB storage costs 2,199 CNY (around $310).
