As such, banking operations across branches in the state will proceed as usual.
It’s noteworthy that the initial date, November 24th, was planned to be a public holiday annually commemorating Guru Tegh Bahadur’s martyrdom. The shift of this observance has affected plans for both employees and students who were expecting two consecutive days off following the Sunday on November 23.
