Honor Unveils 500 Series Smartphones with 200MP Cameras and Massive Battery

Honor has officially unveiled its latest Honor 500 series smartphones in China on November 24, 2025. The lineup includes two models: the standard Honor 500 and the premium Honor 500 Pro, both featuring an impressive array of specifications aimed at high-end users.

The Honor 500 boasts a massive 8000 mAh battery with support for rapid charging capabilities up to 80 W. It is equipped with a 6.55-inch OLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, ensuring an immersive visual experience. This model also features an advanced dual rear camera system: a main 200 MP sensor paired with a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, complemented by a front-facing 50 MP selfie camera for top-notch photography.

Under the hood, the Honor 500 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, delivering robust performance. The smartphone offers multiple storage options starting from CNY 2699 for the base variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, increasing to CNY 3299 for the top-end model featuring 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

The Honor 500 Pro ups the ante with a triple camera setup that includes an OIS-equipped main 200 MP sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens supporting 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens. Additionally, it houses a 50 MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies. The Pro model sports the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset alongside an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for added security.

Priced slightly higher than its sibling, the Honor 500 Pro starts at CNY 3599 for the base variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. As users move up to the top-tier configuration with 16 GB RAM and a massive 1 TB of internal storage, the price climbs to CNY 4799.
