Huawei has announced that applications for its European developer competition, Huawei Developer Competition Europe 2025, are now open until December 10th. The competition aims to foster innovative solutions using cloud and AI technologies, with the finals taking place in Istanbul on December 17th.
Participants can form teams, register, and upload their projects during this period. Preliminary results will be announced on December 12th, with finalist presentations scheduled for December 17th and awards given out at a ceremony on December 18th. The competition is divided into two themes: ‘AI-Powered Innovations’ and ‘Digital Transformation Solutions.’
Under the AI theme, projects utilizing machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and productive AI will be evaluated for their ability to solve complex problems and enhance decision-making processes. The Digital Transformation Solutions category focuses on using cloud computing, IoT, big data, and automation technologies to streamline operations and improve efficiency in businesses.
Winners of the competition will receive a total prize pool of $10,000, with first place earning $5,000, second place receiving $3,000, and third place getting $2,000. Additionally, teams advancing to the finals will have access to Huawei Cloud developer programs, cloud credits, international visibility, and opportunities for investor introductions.
In Turkey, developers can also benefit from additional support provided by Huawei Türkiye, including direct technical assistance from the Digital Technology Services Team (DTSE), free cloud and AI coupons, and guidance in project development.
