Initial details about Huawei’s upcoming Pura X2 smartphone have emerged. The new model is expected to feature the Kirin 9030 chipset and hit the market in Q1 of 2025.
The original Pura X, introduced by Huawei in March, was a novel experiment with foldable phone design that deviated from conventional flip models. Despite its similar vertical folding structure, it offered a screen ratio of 16:10 when unfolded, providing the largest usable area among all flip phones available to date.
According to recent Chinese reports, Huawei is continuing development on this new form factor and plans to release the Pura X2 in early next year. The Kirin 9030 chipset is expected to power the device, which would be an anticipated upgrade from the first-generation Pura X that launched with the Kirin 9020.
Currently, no further details about the Huawei Pura X2 are available, but it’s clear more information will leak in the coming days. We’ll keep you updated on all developments.
