Honor 500 Pro vs iPhone 17 Pro: A Detailed Comparison

The Honor 500 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro have recently entered the market, each offering unique features. Both devices boast powerful processors, high-quality camera setups, and robust battery capacities.

Starting with the cameras, the Honor 500 Pro is equipped with a triple-camera system featuring a main sensor of 200 MP, an additional telephoto lens at 50 MP, and an ultra-wide angle camera with 12 MP. The front-facing camera packs 50 MP as well. In contrast, the iPhone 17 Pro offers three 48 MP cameras for versatility in photography and videography, complemented by a 18 MP selfie camera.

The battery life is another critical area of comparison. The Honor 500 Pro houses an impressive 8000 mAh battery with fast charging up to 80 W and wireless charging at 50 W. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro features a smaller 4252 mAh battery but supports both MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging at 30 W and 15 W respectively.

In terms of display technology, both smartphones offer OLED panels with high refresh rates (120 Hz), though the Honor model slightly outperforms in screen size and brightness (6.55 inches vs 6.3 inches, 6000 nits vs 3000 nits).

The performance capabilities of both devices are driven by their processors: the iPhone 17 Pro uses an A19 Pro chipset paired with iOS 26 and offers RAM options of 8 GB or 12 GB, alongside up to 2 TB storage. The Honor 500 Pro, on the other hand, runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor powered by Android, providing up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.

Ultimately, the choice between these two smartphones comes down to personal preferences regarding camera pixel count, battery capacity, display quality, or software ecosystem.
