Honor Earbuds S Unveiled with 49dB ANC and Spatial Audio

Honor recently announced the launch of its new Honor Earbuds S during the Honor 500 series event. Available in three colors—blue, pink, and white—the earphones are set to hit the market on November 27 at 10:00 AM China time for a price tag of 299 yuan ($42).

The Honor Earbuds S are designed with noise isolation as their primary focus. They feature hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) technology that can achieve up to 49dB of noise reduction, which may vary based on how well the earphones fit and individual anatomy.

These earbuds also come equipped with dual-mic AI call noise suppression, providing clear voice transmission during calls. Each earbud houses a 12.4mm dynamic driver to enhance bass while maintaining clarity across various frequencies. The inclusion of spatial audio offers users personalized presets for different media types such as music, movies, and games.

Battery life is impressive with the Honor Earbuds S lasting up to 9.5 hours on a single charge when ANC is disabled. With the charging case, total battery endurance extends to an impressive 42.5 hours. The earphones support fast charging as well; ten minutes of quick charge can offer three hours of continuous playback.

The ergonomic design aims for extended comfort during use, and they weigh approximately 5.3 grams each. Connectivity features include automatic pairing with Honor smartphones when the case is opened, along with cloud-synced settings for seamless transitions to new devices.

Moreover, the Honor Earbuds S are water-resistant up to IP54 standards, making them suitable for light rain and exercise. They also support multi-device coordination within the Honor ecosystem, enhancing productivity and entertainment options.
