The new Pad X10 Pro by Honor set to launch on January 5th.
Honor has decided to put its plans for compact tablets on hold, focusing instead on the launch of the larger Honor Pad X10 Pro. An official announcement via Weibo hinted at this shift in strategy.
An Honor spokesperson recently shared a teaser image for the upcoming tablet and was asked about future compact models in the comments section. The reply was straightforward: “No more, it’s on hold.” This decision appears to be a strategic pivot towards bigger devices.
The Pad X10 Pro is set to debut alongside the Honor Power 2 smartphone with an impressive 10,080mAh battery capacity on January 5th. Despite its size, the tablet isn’t intended as a high-end productivity tool but rather as a practical device for kids’ online classes or for entertainment purposes.
With an anticipated display of around 11 inches and stylus support, the Honor Pad X10 Pro aims to provide an affordable yet versatile option. The tablet features basic camera capabilities with a single rear lens and one front-facing camera situated on the right bezel.
The Pad X10 Pro’s design includes notable thick borders that give it a distinct look in real-world shots, making its large frame quite noticeable. While this might not appeal to everyone, it certainly stands out as a clear choice for those seeking an affordable and functional tablet option.
