Honor Unveils Firefly AI Projector Air with Advanced Gesture Controls

Honor recently unveiled the Honor Choice Firefly AI Projector Air at a launch event for its latest product lineup. The projector is designed to enhance home entertainment by offering an array of innovative features and compact design.

The Firefly AI Projector Air uses HiSilicon’s 352 quad-core chip alongside 32GB of storage, ensuring efficient operation and rapid video processing capabilities. It employs a single-panel LCD optical engine complemented by a high-quality lanthanide glass lens that minimizes light loss for sharper images.

The projector delivers a brightness output of 280 CVIA lumens with a contrast ratio of 2500:1, making it ideal for home viewing and small room environments. One of its standout features is the AI air-gesture control system that allows users to navigate menus, adjust volume, change channels, and more without touching any physical buttons or remote controls.

Setup and calibration are also made easy with an integrated full-AI image adjustment system offering automatic keystone correction, focus adjustment, obstacle detection, and screen alignment. This ensures optimal viewing experience with minimal user intervention.

The Firefly AI Projector Air weighs 1.22 kg and measures just 55 mm in thickness. It comes with an innovative U-shaped gimbal stand that offers a tilt range of up to 160°, providing flexibility for different projection angles and orientations. Available in two color options—Starry White and Mauve Purple—the projector is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

The Honor Choice Firefly AI Projector Air will be available starting December 8th on JD.com at a price point of 599 yuan (~$84).
