Honor is set to unveil its latest wearable gadget, the Honor Watch X5, in conjunction with the Honor 500 smartphone series. This new watch features a sizable 1.97-inch AMOLED display that boasts rounded corners and ultra-thin bezels measuring just 1.8 mm, offering an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 82%. The device supports an always-on display and offers extensive customization options for its digital faces through the Honor Health app.

Constructed from aluminum alloy, the Watch X5 is remarkably light at only 29 grams and measures a sleek 9.99 mm in thickness. The watch also includes a stainless-steel rotating crown that enhances navigation ease alongside quick-release silicone straps for easy style swapping. Despite its compact dimensions (45.68 × 40.2 mm), the Watch X5 is well-equipped with an array of outdoor tracking features, such as an enhanced barometer and compass, plus independent GPS capabilities supporting five satellite systems.

Designed to withstand tough conditions, the Honor Watch X5 holds a 5 ATM water resistance rating and IP68 dustproofing standards. Its health monitoring features include continuous heart rate and blood oxygen level tracking, sleep analysis, one-click health checks for women’s wellness, and over 120 different sports modes. Additionally, it includes an AI-based weight loss program developed in collaboration with local universities.

Other useful functionalities of the Honor Watch X5 include two-way Bluetooth calling, NFC-enabled mobile payments, camera control, music player controls, SOS emergency calls, a Do Not Disturb mode, and pre-installed mini-games. With regard to battery life, users can expect up to 14 days on a single charge under typical usage conditions or up to five days when the always-on display feature is enabled.

Currently available in China ahead of its official November 24 launch event, the Honor Watch X5 retails for CNY 449 (approximately $63).
