Honor Win, Win RT Gaming Phones Launch with 185Hz Display and Snapdragon 8-Series Chip

Honor has unveiled its latest gaming-oriented smartphones in China: the Honor Win and Honor Win RT. These devices are designed for extended gameplay sessions, featuring a large 10,000mAh battery and advanced cooling technology.

Display and Performance

The Honor Win series boasts a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1272 pixels, offering a high refresh rate of 185Hz for smooth visuals during gaming sessions. The touch sampling rate is set at an impressive 480Hz, ensuring precise control even in fast-paced games.

Hardware and Cooling

Beneath the hood, both models are equipped with powerful Snapdragon 8-series chips, providing robust performance for demanding applications. They also come standard with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage to ensure swift app launches and multitasking capabilities.

For thermal management, Honor has integrated an active cooling fan within the design of both devices. This feature helps in maintaining optimal temperatures during extended use, preventing performance throttling.

Battery Life and Charging

The flagship model, Honor Win, also supports 80W wireless charging along with a reverse-charging option up to 27W. The lineup includes multiple storage options, catering to various user needs.
