Huawei accelerates 4G BTS projects in Indonesia

In Indonesia, Lintasarta – Huawei consortium is installing 4G BTS in 1795 locations. Lintasarta Presidential Director Arya Damar said that the company is participating in the construction of the 3T Regional 4G BTS Project (Delayed, Border and External) together with the Huawei consortium and PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) to support the realization of accelerating digital transformation. Arya said her party, along with Huawei and the SEI consortium, has been tasked with building 4G BTS at 1,795 locations in West Papua and Papua (Central and Western Part) regions, where work is being phased out in 2021 and 2022.

Earlier, on October 6, 2021, Minister of Communications and Information Johnny G. Plate unveiled BTS at three locations in West Papua State via a video conference.

The three inaugurated BTSs are located in Iseren Village, Rumberpon District, Teluk Wondama Regency, Siresi Village, Soug Jaya District, Teluk Wondama Regency and Kasi Indah Village, Kasi District, Tambrauw Regency.
