The Baojun Huajing S, a new hybrid SUV by Huawei and SGMW.
Huawei and SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) have just introduced the Baojun Huajing S, a new hybrid SUV that offers advanced technology features at an affordable price point. The vehicle is equipped with Huawei’s ADS 4.0 technology, which includes intelligent parking assistance and lane-following capabilities.
The Huajing S boasts a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 141 horsepower, along with hybrid electric drive capability for up to 175 kilometers on a single charge. It also offers two battery options: a 31 kWh and a larger 41.9 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) pack.
The car integrates HarmonySpace 5.0, an advanced smart cockpit system developed by Huawei. This setup not only enhances the in-car comfort but also ensures that the vehicle remains up-to-date through Huawei IVCS and Limera laser vision technology. These technologies enable the Huajing S to detect obstacles, pedestrians, and other vehicles with precision.
The official pricing for the Baojun Huajing S has yet to be announced by SGMW and Huawei, but industry insiders predict it will be positioned in a price range around 150 thousand yuan ($23,698 USD). This suggests that the car aims to offer high-end tech features at an accessible cost.
