Huawei AppGallery new interface

Huawei introduced its new interface for AppGallery. In 2020, it continues to improve the application system by reaching more than 500 million monthly active users per month in Global. AppGallery new design showcases apps and games with larger, bolder designs throughout the entire user experience, with the user experience at the center of the AppGallery user interface, using interactive, stunning visuals and complementary digital content.

The new Interface helps AppGallery app developers showcase and promote more of their apps, as well as ensuring that apps reach the right audience. For example, applications are now offered in card format in the “Featured” tab. This new presentation shows users to find a selection of apps, games specially selected by the AppGallery team, as well as much more relevant content including articles, expert guides, reviews.

AppGallery has the “Specials” and “Gifts” tabs, one of the most popular features among active users, right under the “Featured” tab in the new interface. It offers promotions that create more interaction with users, such as “Lucky Draws” and “Cashback” offers to win prizes.

The gifts section allows users to receive free offers from app developers in exchange for downloading or registering their apps.

Wang Heng, Vice President of Global Partnerships and Ecosystem Development for Huawei Consumer Electronics Group, Middle East Europe and Nordic Countries, said: “The number of apps, including premium apps on our platform, is increasing day by day, and we want our customers to enjoy this rich content when it becomes available. “The redesigned AppGallery deserves its name by allowing users to easily browse through content we curated and discover unexpected applications.”
