Huawei, which entered the fastest in 2019, declined within a few months due to the US ban on Samsung’s smartphone market. However, sales in China remained stable thanks to sales.
According to the Korean newspaper Herald, Huawei said the difference decreased by 3.6 percent.
In 2019, Samsung sold 323 million smartphones in the world market, around 21.3 percent. Huawei sold 251 million smartphones to the world market with 17.7 percent.
Apple ranks third in the world with 193 million smartphone sales. After the US ban, Apple’s sales in China fell 35%.
We will see what 2020 will be. But we think Huawein will lead. If the US ban is canceled in 2020, Huawei will be the leader in smartphone sales.
