On the afternoon of March 26, Harmony OS released the meta service and Duan Mengran, vice president of Harmony OS Developer Beta 3, Huawei consumer business AI and intelligent full-scenario business department, said it will be upgraded from March 31st.
On December 16, 2020, Huawei Hongmeng OS officially released a Beta version for mobile phone developers. On the evening of February 22 this year, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei’s consumer company, said outward that Huawei’s flagship mobile phones will be upgraded to Harmony OS starting April this year.
Huawei Mate X2 will be the first upgrade. The report also stated that, according to the introduction of the on-site staff, the official launch of Hongmeng’s business will not take place in April at the earliest, and until the middle of the year at the latest. The live show showed that Hongmeng mobile phone can be connected with home audio and video, fitness equipment and small appliances, and related functions can be activated quickly by simply touching the mobile phone.
He also said that the current iteration rate of the Hongmeng mobile phone system is one version per month, and the internal evolution of the overall system is still accelerating. According to the adaptation plan that came out earlier, Hongmeng OS 2.0 will begin adapting and updating in April. The first group of updated models will be: Huawei Mate X2, Huawei Mate 40 series and Huawei P40 series.
