Huawei has 200W Fast Charging Technology

Richard Yu (CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group) said that they have 200W fast charging technology, but it is not possible to use this technology in devices with small batteries such as smartphones.

At the press event, Richard Yu said, “We currently have 120W and 200W fast charging technology available.”
Using 120W or 200W fast charging technology in devices powered by a small battery such as smartphones is an unnecessary feature that negatively affects the battery. He stated that high charging speeds will only be needed in large batteries.
