Huawei Kunling recently announced the launch of its HUAWEI eKitStor Xtreme 201 solid-state drive (SSD), a product that boasts impressive durability and performance. With a claimed endurance of up to 2,000 TBW at 1TB capacity, this SSD stands out in the consumer market.
The eKitStor Xtreme 201 is designed with the M.2 2280 form factor and supports PCIe 4.0 x4 channels. It adheres to NVMe 2.0 standards, ensuring compatibility with modern systems. The SSD utilizes a DRAM-less Host Memory Buffer (HMB) scheme paired with high-quality NAND flash memory operating at 3600MT/s speeds.
The inclusion of 4K Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) technology and intelligent SLC Cache caching techniques reduces write amplification by up to 10%. This SSD offers sequential read/write speeds of up to 7,400MB/s and 6,700MB/s, respectively, with random 4KB read/write rates reaching 1,000K IOPS and 1,300K IOPS.
