Huawei's new tablet features a large OLED screen and advanced specs.
Huawei has recently launched its Matepad Edge tablet in China on November 25, 2025. This high-end device features a large 14.2-inch flexible OLED screen with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It supports up to 32 GB RAM and comes in various storage options, ranging from 256 GB to 2 TB.
The Matepad Edge tablet is equipped with the powerful Kirin X90A chipset (or optionally the Kirin X90) for superior performance. The device includes dual cooling solutions such as liquid cooling and vapor chambers, ensuring that it can handle intensive tasks efficiently without overheating.
It boasts an impressive 12,900 mAh battery with a fast-charging capability of up to 140 W, allowing the tablet to charge from zero to 60% in just half an hour. In terms of connectivity, it runs on HarmonyOS 5.1 and supports the M-Pencil Pro stylus and optional floating magnetic keyboard.
Camera-wise, the Matepad Edge has a dual rear setup consisting of a main camera with 50 MP resolution and f/1.8 aperture, along with an ultra-wide-angle lens of 8 MP. Additionally, it features a 32 MP front-facing camera for high-quality video calls and selfies.
The pricing starts at CNY 5999 (₹76,000) for the base model with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, while the top-tier variant costs CNY 12,999 (₹1,64,000).
