Huawei is reportedly gearing up to introduce its latest foldable phone, the Huawei Pura X2, sometime between January and March of 2026. The new device will be powered by the Kirin 9030 processor, offering significant performance improvements over previous models.
The upcoming Huawei Pura X2 is set to feature a range of enhancements that distinguish it from its predecessors in the foldable phone lineup. According to recent reports, the Kirin 9030 chipset will provide approximately a 20% to 35% increase in performance compared to the Kirin 9020 used in the Huawei Pura X, launched earlier this year.
The new processor is expected to have nine cores and come equipped with an Maleoon 935 GPU. Detailed specifications of the Huawei Pura X2 are still under wraps, but previous models like the Pura X offer a glimpse into what potential features could be included. The Huawei Pura X featured a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1320 x 2120 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The device also comes with HarmonyOS 5.0, offering two RAM options: 12 GB and 16 GB. Storage configurations include variants of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. Additionally, the Pura X boasts a powerful battery capacity of 4720 mAh that supports both 66W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
The Huawei Pura X2’s design and feature set continue to be closely guarded by the company. However, these early details hint at a device poised to make waves in the foldable phone market with its advanced processor and anticipated high-end specifications.
