Huawei has officially announced that its new smartwatch model, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2, will be launched on November 25th. The company revealed this information through a promotional poster shared on their Weibo page.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 is scheduled to go on sale in China on the same day at 14:30 local time. In its latest update, Huawei stated that “the mountains and seas on your wrist are about to reveal their true face!” The company also added a hashtag #HuaweiWATCHUltimate2 for the launch.
One of the key features of the Watch Ultimate 2 is its compatibility with HarmonyOS 6.0. This smartwatch will offer groundbreaking capabilities such as submersible communication, supporting underwater operation up to 150 meters deep. It also includes an emergency SOS feature that works even under water.
Another unique offering for Chinese users is the support for Beidou satellite voice messaging on this watch. Huawei has also hinted at a special function that allows controlling a smartphone camera with gestures, although many of the detailed features remain undisclosed as of now.
