The new system promises real-time updates and enhanced filtering capabilities for web content. This innovation is aimed at providing users with an environment where they can navigate the internet without being exposed to harmful or inappropriate sites.
A significant highlight of this upgrade is AI Green Web 2.0, which will initially be available on Huawei X1 routers and the Q7 wired version of the Kirin Mesh Wi-Fi router. This feature employs a combination of cloud-based and local machine learning models to ensure that users are shielded from a vast array of potentially harmful websites.
Moreover, the AI Green Web 2.0 technology continuously learns and improves itself based on user behavior patterns and feedback from its massive data set. This ensures that the system remains highly effective in blocking inappropriate websites with a reported success rate of over 90%.
To access these new functionalities, users need to download and install the Huawei Smart Life App on their devices. Once installed, navigating to ‘Routers’ from within the app will provide you with a dedicated card for enabling the Green Web filter specifically designed for children’s safety.
