GM to Integrate Google Gemini AI Assistant in Vehicles Starting 2026
General Motors will introduce a conversational AI assistant powered by Google Gemini to its vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs, beginning next year. The announcement was made Wednesday during the automaker’s GM Forward event in New York City.
The Gemini integration represents a significant advancement in GM’s technology roadmap, with other upgrades like an overhaul of its electrical architecture and an automated driving feature slated for 2028.
