In the leaked image, we can see a rectangular camera island with rounded edges in the upper left corner on the back of the Huawei P70 model. There are sections for three cameras on this camera island. The design was published by Digital Chat Station. We expect the camera module to have a dual-tone LED flash. On the right panel of the device is the volume rocker and below it is the power button. There doesn't appear to be a fingerprint scanner mounted on the power button and the device may support an under-display fingerprint sensor like its predecessor.

The Huawei P70 series is scheduled to be introduced in the first months of 2024. It is expected to consist of three models: Huawei P70, P70 Pro and P70 Pro Art. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Huawei plans to use ultra-wide sensors from Genius Electronic Optical in the P70 series. The new sensor will consist of a unique 1G6P lens (one glass and six plastic parts) and a 1-inch camera module. The new sensor will be an industry first. This setup will be accompanied by the XMAGE platform, including a dedicated NPU. It is said that a 100 to 120 percent increase in shipments is expected compared to the Huawei P60 series. It is not clear which chipset will support it.
