Honor Magic OS Unveils Feature to Safeguard WeChat Data During App Removal
Honor officially announced today on its Weibo account a new feature in its Magic OS system called “WeChat Uninstallation Reinforcement.” This innovation allows users to retain application data when uninstalling the WeChat app, ensuring that chat records, images, and files are not lost.
According to Honor’s introduction, when using Magic OS 10.0.116 or a later version, users can choose to keep their application data during WeChat uninstalls. After reinstalling the app, all previous data will automatically be restored without any user intervention. This feature aims to prevent heartbreak caused by losing important records.
