International Expansion

The most impressive aspect is Honor’s overseas performance. For the first time, over half of the devices shipped were from markets outside China. Sales abroad increased by nearly 50%, indicating a strong market demand beyond domestic borders. In regions such as Latin America and the Middle East, Honor has already surpassed ten million units sold.

Market Presence

Honor now holds around 10% market share in 17 countries, making it a major player in several markets. The brand even topped smartphone and tablet sales in Malaysia. To support this growth trajectory, Honor is investing more heavily in local structures to better serve international customers.

One notable move includes setting up a new manufacturing facility in Bangladesh that brings production closer to key market areas. Furthermore, Honor’s long-term strategy focuses on artificial intelligence and connected device platforms, aiming to simplify daily life with smart features. Partnerships with tech giants like Google, Qualcomm, and BYD are expected to accelerate this progress.

Product Portfolio Growth

In addition to smartphones, Honor now offers a wider range of products, including wearables such as the Watch 5 Ultra, tablets like the Pad V9, and high-quality audio devices. The company plans to continue its momentum in 2026 by appealing more strongly to young tech-savvy audiences and expanding into new markets.

Honor’s strategy shows a clear path toward sustained growth through strategic investments and partnerships. It’s exciting to see how the brand will develop further as it continues to capture global attention.

✓Huawei Mate 80 Pro offers a more modern, rugged design compared to Pixel 9 Pro

Design and Display

The Huawei Mate 80 Pro sports a more modern look with tougher construction and a higher durability rating compared to the Pixel 9 Pro’s sleek glass-and-metal design. In terms of display quality, the Mate 80 Pro boasts an advanced LTPO OLED panel that delivers rich motion handling and HDR Vivid certification for comfort viewing.

Performance and Battery

The Huawei device leads with its Kirin 9030 chip, providing smoother performance thanks to HarmonyOS optimizations. It also offers superior battery endurance and ultra-fast charging capabilities. On the other hand, the Pixel 9 Pro’s Tensor G4 chipset delivers strong AI and camera computation but lacks the efficiency of newer silicon.

Camera Features

The Huawei Mate 80 Pro excels in low-light photography with its variable aperture flexibility and periscope optics. It also has a dual-module selfie setup for better facial mapping. The Pixel 9 Pro stands out in computational photography, offering features like Zoom Enhance and Pixel Shift, even though it uses older hardware.

Pricing and Ecosystem

The Huawei Mate 80 Pro is priced at around $900, making it a more affordable option compared to the Pixel 9 Pro’s $1000 price tag. While Huawei offers newer technology for less, Google’s Pixel 9 Pro compensates with extensive software support and global app compatibility.

Closing Thoughts

Ultimately, your choice between these two flagships comes down to what you value more: cutting-edge hardware or long-term software reliability?

New listings on the 3C certification database suggest that Honor is preparing to launch the GT 2 series smartphones with model numbers ‘AAK-AN00’ and ‘AAP-AN00’. These devices have been certified with certificate numbers 2025011606829781 and 2025011606829783, respectively. Both smartphones are confirmed to be 5G digital mobile phones capable of supporting up to 100W wired fast charging.

The certification also highlights the inclusion of a specific charger model number HN-200500C12 alongside the two devices. Additionally, according to Weibo updates from Digital Chat Station, an Honor smartphone prototype with similar specifications is being tested for its battery endurance and performance capabilities.

Speculations around the GT 2 series include a Snapdragon 8 Elite or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 6.83-inch display with 1.5K resolution, and a large 50MP camera sensor. The phones are also expected to feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, metal middle frame, and full-level water resistance.

Honor has tentatively set December 2025 for the launch of these smartphones in the Chinese market, providing potential users with an advanced fast-charging solution alongside other high-end features. For more detailed updates on the Honor GT 2 series, stay tuned to our site.

Vivo’s upcoming Vivo X300 Pro and Huawei’s Huawei Pura 80 Ultra are set to compete in the premium smartphone market. Both devices feature bold designs, advanced camera systems, high-quality displays, and fast charging capabilities.

When it comes to design and build quality, the Vivo X300 Pro has an 8mm frame and weighs slightly less at 226 grams compared to the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra’s 233.5 grams. The Vivo model includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, while the Huawei device utilizes Kunlun Glass 2 for enhanced durability.

The display technology of both phones is impressive but slightly different. The Vivo X300 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1260 x 2800, while the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra offers a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1276 x 2848 and adds 1440 Hz PWM dimming for better low-light viewing.

Camera capabilities are another key point of comparison. The Vivo X300 Pro sports an impressive 200 MP primary lens alongside two 50 MP sensors, while the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra features a trio of lenses: a 50 MP + 50 MP + 40 MP setup with OIS and 4K recording capabilities.

Performance-wise, the Vivo X300 Pro packs a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset with 12 GB RAM plus 12 GB virtual RAM, while the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is powered by Kirin 9020 and offers up to 16 GB of RAM paired with 512 GB storage.

When it comes to battery life and charging speed, both devices have their strengths. The Vivo X300 Pro has a larger 6510 mAh battery supported by 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. In contrast, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra sports a slightly smaller 5700 mAh battery but offers faster wired charging at 100W and wireless charging at 80W.

At launch, the Vivo X300 Pro will be priced at ₹1,09,999 in India, whereas the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is expected to cost ₹1,18,990. While the Vivo model offers a slightly better performance-to-price ratio, the Huawei device stands out with its enhanced durability and superior wireless charging technology.
