Samsung is gearing up for an anticipated release of its tri-fold smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, with potential launch plans in the first week of December. A fresh leak from South Korea suggests that Samsung could offer this upcoming device at a more affordable price point than previously thought. Korean tech blogger yeux1122 revealed that Samsung is considering setting an initial price tag around 3.6 million won (approximately $2,447) in its home market.
This pricing strategy would put the Galaxy Z TriFold in direct competition with Huawei's Mate XTs, currently the only commercially available tri-fold device on the market. The Mate XTs is priced at roughly $2,520 after a reduction from its original price point.
