Huawei Mate 80 and Mate X7 Unveiled in Today’s Online Event
The launch of Huawei’s latest smartphone lineup, the Mate 80 series including the Mate X7 foldable device, is set to commence today. The company has shifted from its usual live broadcast format for this event, opting instead for a pre-recorded video presentation which will be available on their Weibo page at 14:30 (2:30 PM) local time.
Previously, Huawei had maintained the tradition of hosting live events to unveil their flagship devices such as the Mate 70 and other models. However, this year they have decided to depart from that format, potentially due to the technical complexity of showcasing new features or possibly because CCTV is handling a live broadcast which would require them to release an edited version.
