Furthermore, the update introduces customized haptic feedback options for alarms and the ability to silence them simply by covering the watch screen.

New in this release is an advanced emotional health management system that integrates with digital pet features, encouraging users to engage in breathing exercises based on their mood status. This feature aims at comprehensive mental well-being support. Additionally, there’s an enhanced high-altitude adaptation function for those navigating higher altitudes.

Enhanced Sports Mode

The update also brings improved sports tracking features like elevation curve display during mountainous runs and optimized navigation guidance for trail runners to manage their physical exertion better. Quick settings adjustments are now available directly from the watch face while exercising, making it easier than ever to tailor your workout.

Power Management

The update includes several power-saving enhancements, such as the ability to sync phone contacts and display them on the watch even when in low-power mode. The calendar app has also been updated for improved readability and ease of use with new views like weekly or monthly layouts.

Installation Notes

Before proceeding with the update, it’s crucial that users ensure they are already running one of the recommended preceding versions to receive this new software push. Users can install the upgrade either via the Huawei Health and Fitness app, directly from their smartphone or tablet, or by connecting the watch to a Wi-Fi network for an over-the-air (OTA) update.

It’s also important to keep your phone and/or tablet updated with the latest firmware to ensure seamless compatibility during the upgrade process. During installation, maintain sufficient battery levels on both devices and avoid interrupting the connection between them.
