HUAWEI has launched the highly anticipated GoPaint drawing contest, inviting artists from around the world to showcase their creativity through digital art. Participants will have the opportunity to display their creativity across five distinct categories: Science Fiction, Narrative Art, Memorabilia, Watercolor, Ink, and Animation (Video). Each category offers a unique challenge, encouraging artists to explore different styles and techniques.

Rewards for Winning Artists

The GoPaint 2025 contest promises an array of rewards, from hardware prizes to monetary awards. In Turkey, winners will receive the latest Huawei tablets: First place in each category gets a HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2, second place receives the HUAWEI MatePad 12X, and third place wins the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5. On an international scale, the top twenty entries will be awarded a prestigious $1000 cash prize each (taxes included).

Global winners also stand to gain from extensive exposure through various platforms. Their artwork will be showcased in global digital art exhibitions and featured on Huawei’s app store homepage. Additionally, special interview videos featuring the artists will be shared worldwide, providing a platform for international recognition.

The judging panel for GoPaint 2025 is composed of internationally acclaimed figures in the art world such as Deka from Paris School of Design, Laura Gallon, Art Director at Huawei Themes, Ji Zhengling from Tsinghua University’s Department of Visual Arts, and renowned illustrator Victo Ngai. Their expertise ensures that the competition remains rigorous while celebrating the diversity of digital art.
