The Aito M5 was on display during the recent Shanghai Auto Show, showcasing Aito's current lineup.
Huawei-backed Aito is set to introduce its latest SUV model, the Aito M6, in the second quarter of 2026. According to a local media report from LatePost, the M6 will cater to the family SUV market priced around RMB 250,000 ($35,180).
The new model is expected to offer both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) versions, aligning with Aito’s existing lineup. Currently, the brand offers a range of models including M5, M7, M8, and M9, all of which are SUVs.
While the launch of the M6 will not replace the currently available M5 model, it is expected to target a segment above the M5 but below the M7. The M5’s price range starts at RMB 229,800 and goes up to RMB 249,800.
In addition to introducing the M6, Aito will also launch an updated version of the M9 next year alongside a longer-wheelbase variant called M9L. This strategy aims to expand the brand’s market coverage within the RMB 200,000 to RMB 500,000 range.
