Wang Chenglu, Head of Huawei Software Department, received the “5G Promotion Enterprise Award” at the “2020 Technology Notice Board” event held on January 12, 2021. In his speech while receiving his award, Hongmeng HarmonyOS 2.0 explained the differences between Android and iOS.
Against US sanctions, he said there is no alternative system and the Hongmeng OS is not a copy of Android or iOS. Unlike Android and IOS, Hongmeng OS is an operating system compatible with many devices and compatible with IoT devices that will be used extensively in the future.
According to Huawei, the Hongmeng OS 2.0 system is the first truly distributed operating system built for the full scenario era. Supports cross-device collaboration, large and small screen interaction, fast network deployment, adaptive UX, visual and voice-enhanced audio interaction.
