First car of cooperation between Huawei and BAIC Blue Valley to be introduced in April

The Valley official account published an article stating that the ARCFOX, the first model in collaboration with Huawei, will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April this year.

Huawei is thought to have three laser radar configuration solutions. BAIC Blue Valley ARCFOX Polar Fox αS HBT models adopt the three most advanced laser radar loading solutions. HBT will also be equipped with a 6 millimeter wave radar, 12 cameras, 13 ultrasonic radars and a Huawei chip with computing power up to 352Top, creating an autonomous driving solution above the L3 level.

BAIC Blue Valley announced in September 2017 that the BAIC Group and Huawei announced the deepening cooperation BAIC New Energy and Huawei launched the “1873 Davidson Innovation Lab” to jointly develop core technologies and produce high-end smart electric vehicles. On the eve of the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2019, Huawei’s rotating president, Xu Zhijun, announced that Huawei and BAIC’s two partners will produce a premium car.

In October 2020, ARCFOX αT, equipped with Huawei’s smart networking and smart electrical solutions, was launched, starting the era of 5G smart cars. ARCFOX HBT, equipped with the new Huawei smart car solution, deepens the cooperation between the two companies.
