Now, third-party companies and independent developers can offer their specialized AI coding agents, similar to the app store model on smartphones, but for tasks like code generation, testing, vulnerability detection, documentation, or database management.

Teams can select agents best suited for specific project needs, choosing a top security scanner or the most efficient code optimizer, for instance.
