Honor is set to expand its Magic series with the Honor Magic 8 Mini smartphone. Following the launch of the Honor Magic 8 and Honor Magic 8 Pro in October 2025, the company plans to introduce the Honor Magic 8 Mini in early 2026. The smartphone will reportedly come with a high-end 200MP main camera featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) and a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.
The Honor Magic 8 Mini is anticipated to be priced around INR 68,800 for the base variant equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, this price is speculative and subject to change upon official announcement.
Camera Specifications: The rear camera setup includes a main sensor capable of capturing images up to 200MP resolution, complemented by an additional 50MP telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities. A front-facing 32MP selfie camera is also expected to support 4K video recording.
Battery and Charging: This smartphone will likely feature a robust battery capacity ranging from 5450mAh to 7000mAh, enabling users to enjoy up to two days of regular use. Fast charging capabilities include an 80W charger for quick recharges.
Display and Design: A flat LTPO OLED display measuring 6.31 inches with a resolution of 1.5K (120Hz refresh rate) is anticipated, offering a pixel density of 453 PPI. The design includes stereo speakers and an ultra-slim profile. While IP rating details are not confirmed, the phone might receive either IP68 or IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
Performance: Underpinning this device is the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor built on a 3nm fabrication process, paired with LPDDR5X RAM options of 12GB or 16GB. Storage will be available in configurations ranging from 256GB to 1TB and will not support expandable storage solutions.
