Honor has unveiled the full specifications of its upcoming Honor Power 2 smartphone just days before its official presentation, thanks to an entry on China Telecom’s website. The device is clearly aimed at users seeking maximum battery life, boasting a massive 10,080 mAh battery that even surpasses many tablets in capacity.
The smartphone remains surprisingly compact despite its large battery, measuring just under eight millimeters thick and weighing around 216 grams. Under the hood, Honor has equipped it with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor paired with 12 GB of RAM and either 256 or 512 GB of internal storage.
The Power 2 features a large 6.79-inch OLED display, offering a resolution of 2640 Ă— 1200 pixels with a front-facing camera of 16 megapixels located centrally. The rear camera system includes two sensors: a main module with 50 megapixels and a depth sensor with five megapixels.
The design is inspired by current premium devices, available in three colors—Phantom Black, Snow White, and Sunrise Orange. The white version has a marble-like pattern, while the other variants have a more matte finish. It runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16 and comes with features like an 80-watt fast charger via cable, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and NFC support.
The exact price of the Honor Power 2 is yet to be announced before its official presentation. With such a large battery combined with modern specifications, Honor clearly positions this device as an attractive option for those prioritizing long battery life.
