Honor showcases its new flagship model with cutting-edge features.
Honor has revealed its new Honor 500 series in China, aiming to set a high bar across several key areas. The smartphones come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a main camera of an impressive 200 megapixels, and an astounding battery capacity of 8,000 mAh. In addition, they feature an AMOLED display capable of reaching up to 6,000 Nits peak brightness.
The internal workings are powered by Qualcomm’s latest top-tier processor that combines high performance with improved energy efficiency. When coupled with an enhanced cooling system, Honor promises stable performance even during extended gaming sessions or multitasking tasks. The integrated AI Performance Manager is designed to automatically prioritize applications and optimize power consumption at the same time.
The camera system forms the heart of this series, featuring a 200-megapixel main camera supported by wide-angle and portrait modules for versatile shooting capabilities. Enhanced with a second-generation artificial intelligence engine that can analyze scenes and lighting conditions twice as fast as its predecessor, low-light photography, macro shots, and portraits are expected to achieve professional-level quality.
The series comprises three models: Honor 500, Honor 500 Pro, and Honor 500 Ultimate. All variants use the same chipset but differ in camera configurations, storage options, and material choices. The lineup is set for release first in China before an international launch planned at the beginning of 2026.
Prices start from approximately €640 for the base model, as converted from local currency.
