The Honor 500 series smartphones feature modern design elements and top-tier photography capabilities.
Honor has unveiled its latest 500 series smartphones in China, marking an entry into the mid-range market with devices that seem to draw inspiration from Apple’s iPhone Air. The lineup includes two models: Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro, both featuring a modern design language with soft color options such as blue, pink, silver, and black.
The base Honor 500 model is equipped with a 6.5-inch display within a slim frame measuring just 7.75mm thick. It houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, providing a balance of performance and affordability. The phone includes eye protection features designed to reduce discomfort from various lighting conditions.
On the rear, both models showcase an appealing camera array with rounded edges and dual or triple lenses for the base model and Pro variant respectively. The Honor 500 has a 200MP main lens paired with a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor. A standout feature of these devices is their battery capacity, with the inclusion of an 8,000mAh unit that supports rapid charging at up to 80W.
Priced at approximately $380 and $507 for the Honor 500 and Pro models respectively, there’s currently no indication whether these devices will be available outside China. As of now, Honor has not provided any information regarding international availability.
