Huawei establishes new business units

Huawei Technology has established new business units focused on providing smart services to data networks, highways, ports and solar power plants.

The establishment of new organizations in Huawei is Huawei’s latest move towards diversification, and a business unit for coal mining is set up in February.

Huawei is expanding its business lines into various segments with its rapidly growing 5G network amid US restrictions on its operations. Last month, it announced a new collaboration with a coal company within China Energy to digitize the mining industry by making it safer and faster.
