Previously, Huawei had maintained the tradition of hosting live events to unveil their flagship devices such as the Mate 70 and other models. However, this year they have decided to depart from that format, potentially due to the technical complexity of showcasing new features or possibly because CCTV is handling a live broadcast which would require them to release an edited version.
