Huawei has officially announced that it will unveil its new Mate 80 series products, including the foldable flagship phone Huawei Mate X7 and other innovative devices on November 25. As the announcement date approaches, the company is sharing initial details about the upcoming device.
The Huawei Mate X7 will not only be sleek but also feature bazalt tempered glass and a robust IP58/IP59 water resistance rating. The smartphone will come in four color options: black, turquoise, white, and red. A new teaser video shows off the durability of the phone against drops and water.
The clip emphasizes the new security level Huawei has defined for its foldable devices as part of their “ultra-reliable folding architecture.” Additionally, the Mate X7 Collector’s Edition will be equipped with a second-generation bazalt tempered glass on its exterior surface. According to previous reports, the Huawei Mate X7 is expected to be powered by the Kirin 9030 processor and offer RAM options ranging from 12GB, 16GB up to an impressive 20GB. The maximum storage capacity will reach a terabyte.
The rear of the phone features three cameras including a periscope lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.
