Huawei Unveils Micro-Pump Liquid Cooling Case for Mate 80 Series

Huawei has announced a new accessory designed specifically for its latest flagship smartphones, the Mate 80 series. The micro-pump liquid cooling case is now available in China and supports three models: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, and Mate 80 Pro Max. Priced at 299 yuan ($42) each, this updated accessory builds on previous versions offered for the Mate 70 and Mate 60 series.

The latest case features a full-cover design that offers better thermal management by covering the entire back of the phone, ensuring even cooling. Constructed from PU material, it remains slim and lightweight to provide an ergonomic grip while adding a high-tech aesthetic with a transparent window revealing the internal liquid circulation system.

Inside, the case employs an ultra-thin liquid cooling layer coupled with a precise micro-pump mechanism. This setup utilizes a heat-absorbing sheet for efficient temperature regulation during demanding tasks like gaming or video rendering. The micro-pump operates automatically and adjusts its activity according to the phone’s workload and temperature levels without any manual control.

The case can be powered wirelessly via reverse charging from the smartphone, eliminating the need for additional cables or an external power source. Currently available on Vmall in China, this accessory aims to enhance user experience by keeping devices cooler during intense usage scenarios.
